When giving allowance to your parents,
how about a fabric envelopes instead of a paper envelopes?
Pictures and Description
It’s made with just fabric and interfacing, so no snap required.
It looks like this inside.
It's also great for storing important things.
It would look prettier if the diamond shape in the center
was decorated with beads or embroidered.
10 x 19cm (4 x 7½in)
Materials
Cotton, Non-woven Fusible Interfacing(2 oz)
Forceps or Tweezers
How to make
1. Attach the interfacing.
2. Sew two diamond-shaped pieces right sides together and notching.
3. Turn the diamond over and lightly sew it to the outer fabric to secure it.
At this time, the dots marked with the same color must meet.
5. Fold the pattern along the dotted line and draw a line on the interfacing.
6. Fold the right side up and fold the line marked on the outer upward.
7. Turn back and fold the lining.
8. Now let’s make a string.
Sew the outer and lining of string right sides together.
9. Turn it over out and iron it.
(It’s easier to shape it if you fold the seam allowance inward before turning it over.)
10. Fix the string to the lining,
fold the diamond end of the outer, and lay it on the lining.
11. Fold the lining and sew like picture.
12. Notching and turn inside out.
13. Sew up the opening.
That's it!
