These are my family's new pillows.

I made a pretty pillow for spring.
It will make you fall asleep the moment your head touches it.
From the time the children were young until now,
all the pillows used by the whole family are made by me.
I made it in three sizes for preschooler, elementary school students, teenagers & adults.
I added a quilted batting to the inside of the part where the head touches,
so that the pillow insert does not easily get dirty from sweat or contaminants.
Children sweat a lot when they sleep.

Materials
* Pillow Cover *
Cotton Fabric, No. 3 Zipper, Interfacing
Interfacing : Pre-quilted batting / White quilting fabric polyester cotton
(It is quilted together with polyester cotton and white t/c fabric.)
* Pillow Insert *
White TC Fabric or Thin Cotton Fabric, Fiberfill
If you make the pillow insert 2 to 3 cm (1¼in) larger than the pillow cover,
you can make a pretty pillow.
1cm (⅜in) seam allowance included.
Pillow size is 3cm (1¼in) included size.
This is the quilting batting that I mainly use.
Pre-quilted batting / White quilting fabric polyester cotton
(It is quilted together with polyester cotton and white t/c fabric.)
It can be used for various covers, slippers, kitchen/oven gloves, pouches, bags, and more.
How to make
1. I'll make the back of the pillow cover first.
Zigzag or serging like the picture above.
(If you do a zigzag stitch, replace an overlock foot to prevent wrinkles.)
2. Place the right side together and sew.
3. Both top and bottom are connected with zipper.
4. Fold the upper fabric just enough to cover the zipper and pin it.
5. Sew along the sewing line leaving about 1cm (⅜in) at both ends of the back of the zipper.
6. Insert the zipper slide and sew on both ends.
7. Lay the fabrics like the picture.
8. Pin fabrics and sew. To make sewing easier, you need to put a lot of pins.
(It is better if there is nothing on the head of the pin or if it is small.)
9. Clip seam allowances diagonally. Open the zipper and turn inside out.
10. Mark four points within 3cm (1¼in).
11. Pin fabrics and sew like number 8.
12. Please put pillow insert. The pillow is complete.

2. Leave an opening wide enough for your hand to fit through and sew.
3. Turn inside out and stuff with fiberfill.
4. Fold the opening seam allowance inward and sew it.
The pillow insert is complete.
