Is it time to replace your kitchen gloves?
Pictures and Description
It's time to change the kitchen mitts, so I made a new one.
Easy to make and pretty.
It is good to use when moving a hot pot or taking dishes out of the microwave.
If you want to use it for the oven, you need to add more interfacing.
I put a quilted batting between the outer fabric and lining.
It's easier to make if you make it with a quilted fabric with a pretty pattern.
It's pretty just hanging up, so it's also good for decoration.
Materials
Outer : Cotton oxford, Lining : Cotton
Interfacing : Pre-quilted batting / White quilting fabric polyester cotton
(It is quilted together with polyester cotton and white t/c fabric.)
The pattern is on my YouTube channel.
How to make
1. Fold the piece of fabric for the loop in 4 layers and sew.
3. Place the right side together and sew it, leaving an allowance for the bottom seam.
4. Clipping and cut the seam allowance, leaving about 0.5 cm (3/16 in) shorter.
5. Place the right side together and sew about 2mm (⅛in) inward from the stitching line, leaving and opening.
6. Clipping.
8. Sew the entrance of mitten.
10. Turn it over through the opening and make the shape.
11. Fold the opening seam allowance inward and sew.
12. Put the lining inside the outer.
13. Make another one in the same way.
