I made a pencil case and pouch with pretty star pattern linen fabric.
The way to make it is the same, only the shape is different.
It's a small pencil case with biased edges and a zipper.
The lining was made by quilting it with interfacing.
This way, you can make a prettier and more perfect pencil case.
It is also good to quilt the outer fabric as well.
Even though it's small, it still holds a lot.

The lining of this one was also quilted.
You can make it and give it as a gift.
Great for storing small belongings.

Materials
- For Pencil Case -
Outer - Linen, Lining - Cotton
Non-woven fusible interfacing (4 oz)
Cotton ribbon, No. 3 zipper,
- For Pouch -
There is no need to draw lines when cutting quilting.
Just place the fabric on top and cut it.
When cutting bias that is 3.5cm wide and short in length,
The width of a 30cm ruler is usually 3.5cm, so you can easily cut it using a ruler.
Because patterns also have bias, it is easier to cut using patterns.
You can make a pretty quilted fabric by cutting sandpaper into 2cm wide pieces,
placing the rough side on the fabric and sewing.
How to make
1. After quilting the lining and interfacing together,
place the outer fabric on top of the interfacing and cut it into shape.
2. Wrap both the top and bottom with bias.
3. Divide the zipper and sew it on the bias with the coil part facing out.
4. Fold the cotton ribbon in half, place the folded part facing inward,
and sew about 0.5cm (¼in) inward.
5. Put the zipper slider and pass it all the way through.
Please put it one more time.
6. Cut the protruding zipper and sew the end.
7. Wrap both ends with a bias.
When sewing a thick part, make the stitch length a little longer.
