I made a simple and easy-to-use bag with a thick fabric.
I installed a magnetic button on the bag flap.
I made it with a short strap,
but I think it would look pretty if you made it longer and made it into a cross bag.
The bottom is round and oval shaped.
I think the bag is prettier because it has a bling-bling gold material.
Even if you make it out of jeans you don't wear, it's pretty.
The bag strap is about 37cm (14½in) excluding the hook.
Materials
1mm Thick Polyester Fabric, Cotton Fabric
Non-woven Fusible Interfacing(2 oz)
No.3 Zipper 21cm (8¼in),
13mm D-ring, 15mm Lobster Clasps,
Magnetic Button (small, 14mm),
Glue Stick, Pliers
How to make
3. Sew the flap outer and lining right sides together.
4. Cut notches along the curve so that it shapes better when it is reversed.
5. Sew the side lines and bottom of the outer fabric.
6. Fold the piece of fabric, hang the D-ring, and lightly sew to secure it.
7. Secure the flap to the back of the bag body.
- Zip Pocket -
8. Draw the zipper position on the wrong side of the zipper pocket.
9. Sew the zipper pocket and bag lining right sides together.
10. Fold it in half and cut the middle part with scissors.
Be careful not to cut the stitching line.
11. Insert the pouch through the cut hole and turn it over. Iron it to shape it.
12. Secure the zipper using glue stick and sew.
13. Fold up the pocket. Sew only the pocket, excluding the lining.
15. Clip the seam allowance below and connect the bottom.
16. Turn the lining inside out, put it inside the outer fabric,
and sew around the entrance of the bag.
17. Turn over to the opening and sew once more.
19. Sew up the opening.
20. Fold the bag strap and sew.
21. Hang the lobster clasps on both sides and sew twice.
22. Hang the strap to the D ring.
