How to Make 2 Sizes Triangle Pencil Case | Free Sewing Patterns | gift idea | made by JOJO

Is it time to make a new pencil case?

Pictures and Description

Triangle Pencil Case
I made pencil cases that is easy to make and practical.

Triangle Pencil Case
It fits well even if you put scissors
and glue and put a cap on the pencil with an eraser.

Triangle Pencil Case
It looks prettier if you put a label on it.

Triangle Pencil Case
Make it any size you want.

Materials

Triangle Pencil Case
Linen, Cotton, Non-woven fusible interfacing, No.3 zipper
(L)

How to make

Triangle Pencil Case
1. Attach the interfacing to the wrong side of the outer fabric.
2. Place the lining on top of it and sew the indentation in the middle.
3. Wrap the upper and lower parts with outer fabric seam allowances and sew them together.
4. Split the zipper and sew on each side.

5. Fold and sew to make a loop(strap).
6. Fold in half, place the folded part inward and sew it.

Triangle Pencil Case
7. Put the zipper slide, close the zipper, and put it one more time. (Why is my little finger doing that? 😆)
8. Fold in half and sew on both sides. Cut off the extra zippers.

Triangle Pencil Case
9. Place bias1 on the sewn area and sew again.
10. Wrap the seam allowance and sew one more time. (Fold only the top of the bias)
11. Finish with bias1 on both sides.

Triangle Pencil Case
12. Fold the bottom and sew it.
13. Wrap both sides with bias2 and sew it.
14. Turn inside out and you're done.

It's easy to make if you don't cut the pink part.

Cut the length of bias1 3cm (1¼in) longer than the above measurements.

After step 12, Cut it out and wrap it with a bias2.

(Look at the shape of the pencil case and cut it leaving a seam allowance.)

I hope it will be of great help in your work.

Have a good one!
