Bok-Ju-Meo-Ni is a traditional Korean bag carried to bring good luck.
Pictures and Description
It is also given as a gift to wish good luck in the new year
or used to give New Year's money to children.
You can also use a pouch to store small belongings.
It's really easy to make with just fabric and string.
The left side is shown in a video, and the right lucky bag,
which is easier to make, is shown in a photo.
Materials
Linen, Cotton fabric, Cotton string, Safety pin
It can be easily made using the same fabric as the outer and lining.
Fold the fabric in half and cut with a 1cm (⅜in) seam allowance.
How to make
1. Lay the outer and lining right sides together.
2. Put the pattern and mark it as shown in the photo above.
(This is where the string goes.)
3. Sew it, leaving the marked area and opening.
4. Cut notches along the curve so that it shapes better when it is reversed.
5. Fold the seam allowance inward and iron it.
The left side with the opening is the lining.
5. Push the lining toward the outer fabric.
5. Sew around the 2cm (¾in) width.
7. If you have decorative wooden beads, thread them on and tie a string.
