Here's an easy way to quilt fabrics and interfacing together.
You can make pretty things out of quilted fabric.
Quilting fabric can also be used as a lining.
Try using it when making a pencil case.
Make a pretty wallet and
Also make a awesome hand bag.
Materials
Linen or Cotton fabric
Non-woven interfacing (4 oz)
(Both fusible and non-fusible interfacings are available.)
Width 2cm or 1" sandpaper
(Set the width of the sandpaper to the desired size.)
How to make
1. Put the fabric on the interfacing.
2. Draw diagonal lines with chalk.
3. If you put the rough side of sandpaper on the fabric and sew it,
You can quilt it beautifully.
For short sandpaper, insert a needle into the fabric and raise the presser foot.
Just put the sandpaper down and continue sewing.
5. Finish one side and sew the other side.
You don't have to backstitch at the beginning and at the end.
Ta-da! It worked well without pinching the fabric.
You can also make this shape by cutting sandpaper in a 'ㄱ' shape and quilting it.
I hope this helps.
