Shorts made with a hem with invisible stitching lines.

Pictures and Description

DIY Blind Hem Wide Knee Shorts
I made wide shorts that were about knee-length.
This time, I made it with a blind hem stitch
so that the stitch line at the hem of the pants is not visible.

You can choose one of the two.
Stretch fabric is number 12.
(The number is the number written on the sewing machine I use.)

These are blind hem foots.
The shape may vary depending on the sewing machine.
You can use a basic foot, but you can sew more easily if you use a blind hem foot.

This is used when sewing by aligning a specific part with the white guide.
You can adjust the position by turning the nut.

If you fold the hem twice, fold and sew like this.

Even in the case of serged seam, the folding method is the same.

All you have to do is sew slowly, leaving a little bit of stitching only at the end of the folded part.

※If this is your first time sewing, practice first.
It's not difficult as long as you remember how to fold the hem.

When you unfold the folded part, it looks like this.

The stitches may be slightly visible, but depending on the fabric and thread color, they may be barely visible.

I think it would look pretty even if it was made with flowing fabric.

The side view was taken as if she was wearing a skirt.
